Assessment Information for Parents

At St Paul’s CofE Primary School, we want parents to feel informed about the assessments children complete during their primary school journey. These assessments help teachers understand your child’s learning, celebrate progress, and identify any areas where extra support may be needed.

Supporting Your Child

The best way to support your child with any assessment is to:

• Encourage regular reading at home
• Practise key maths facts and times tables
• Maintain good attendance
• Ensure they get plenty of sleep and a healthy breakfast
• Reassure them that assessments are simply a way to show what they know
