Autumn Term

Remembrance Service

Each November, the entire school community gathers on the playground to pay our respects and remember the brave soldiers who have served our country. This solemn occasion allows our pupils to reflect on the sacrifices made and develop a deeper understanding of the importance of kindness, courage, and respect.

Scarecrow Festival

Each autumn, our school participates in the local Scarecrow Festival, organized by the Church. As a Shakespeare School, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to create our very own Romeo and Juliet in 2023. The theme for 2024 is book characters…. I wonder who our scarecrows will be this year.

Star School of the Week

We had our moment of fame when we were very excited to be chosen to be ‘Star School of the Week’ on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire Radio. Mrs Eardley, Bradley, Cicely and Casey spoke proudly about our school. Dave, was nominated as our star member of staff. As a school which shines brightly, it was great to be recognised as a ‘Star School’.

Christmas

The Christmas season is marked by beloved traditions at St. Paul’s C of E Primary School, including our Christingle service, Nativities, Christmas Service at Church. This year we also held a Santa Dash after a Year 4 pupil, asked if he and his class mates could do a Santa Dash to raise money for Molly Olly’s – a charity both he and his dad support. Not wanting to leave anyone out, we decided the whole school would take part! With the support of Theo’s dad, the whole school donned Santa Hats and dashed around the playground!

To foster a sense of community and well-being, our staff members put on a pantomime performance of Aladdin for all the pupils. It was great fun who all involved! Who knew that Mr Longdon was destined to be a great Genie in lamp? Looking forward to Panto ’24 already!

These joyful events bring our community together in a spirit of friendship, love, and celebration of our Christian faith.
