Putting Faith into Practice

At St. Paul’s C of E Primary School, we believe that faith should not just be confined to the classroom, but should be woven into the fabric of our school community. That’s why we offer a range of activities and initiatives that allow our pupils to explore and deepen their faith in engaging and meaningful ways. By empowering our pupils to become courageous advocates for themselves and others, both within our school community and beyond, they develop a strong sense of social justice and learn how to use their voices to make a positive impact in the world. 

Food Bank and Community Outreach

Guided by our values of kindness and compassion, our pupils are actively involved in supporting the local food bank and other community initiatives. Through these acts of service, they learn the importance of loving and caring for their neighbours, just as Christ has loved us.

Prayer Spaces and Outdoor Spiritual Areas

We are currently developing our Spirituality Garden that will offer opportunities for meditation, reflexion, and personal worship. This space will allow our pupils to connect with God and find solace in times of need or celebration.

“Experience Christmas” and “Shooting Stars”

In partnership with our local church, we host annual events like “Experience Christmas” and the “Shooting Stars” drama group, which bring the school and wider community together to explore the true meaning of the Christian faith through interactive experiences and creative expression.

Collective Worship and School Prayer

Our daily collective worship sessions are designed to be invitational and inspiring, nurturing the spiritual growth of our pupils. Each child and adult in our school community has their name displayed in our Prayer Space, reminding us that we are all chosen and held in God’s hands.

At St. Paul’s, we strive to live out our vision of “Shining Like Stars in the World” by cultivating an environment where faith, kindness, trust, love, courage, respect, and friendship are at the forefront of our community. Through our diverse range of faith-based initiatives and activities, we empower our pupils to develop a deep, personal connection with their faith and to become confident, compassionate, and courageous citizens who can make a positive impact on the world around them.
