St. Paul’s is a large Church of England primary school at the heart of the Nuneaton community and recently described as a ‘good’ school by OfSTED with the ‘capacity to improve’ even further.

When a vacancy becomes available for the role of parent or community governors’, this will be advertised on schools newsletters and the website as we are keen to fill the position as soon as we can.

We hope that as part of the local community you will be able to offer some of your time, skills and expertise to help us achieve our vision for St. Paul’s C of E Primary School. Becoming a governor is an opportunity to do something special and help the school to provide the very best education and school experience for our children.

The role of a governor is a great opportunity to find out how schools and the education system work, to work with other like-minded people from the local community, to develop new skills and above all to make a difference. The role can be fun, interesting and challenging and we know the importance of both helping new governors get used to the role and making the most of your skills, experiences and perspectives.

The information on this website should give you a good idea of what it means to become a governor at St. Paul’s C of E Primary School. We would be delighted to show you round the school and to meet with you to answer your questions. If you have any questions please phone the school on:

 024 7638 3323.

Alternatively, email the Clerk to the Governors:

I hope to be able to welcome you onto our governing body in the near future.

Chair of the Governing Body
