A message from Mrs Griffiths, our Senior Mental Health Lead

At St Paul’s C of E Primary School, we recognise the vital role mental health and emotional well-being play in the lives of our children and their families. We are committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child can thrive — emotionally, socially, and academically.

We understand that life brings challenges, and at times, children and families may need additional support. That’s why we:

  • Provide access to pastoral support and well-being interventions in school.
  • Promote resilience, emotional literacy, and self-regulation through our curriculum.
  • Work closely with external agencies, where needed, to ensure children receive the help they deserve.
  • Encourage open conversations about mental health, helping to reduce stigma and build a culture of empathy and care.

We believe that positive mental health is the foundation for learning and flourishing. If you are ever concerned about your child’s well-being or would like to know more about the support available, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Together, we can ensure that every child shines brightly — in heart, mind, and spirit.
