At St Paul’s CofE Primary School, we are proud to be a truly inclusive community where every child and family is welcomed, valued, and supported. Rooted in our Christian values, we nurture the whole child, enabling every individual to flourish academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

As our school continues to grow, so too does our dedicated Inclusion Team. We are committed to developing a highly skilled team of professionals who are able to provide both therapeutic support and responsive, in-the-moment interventions. This ensures that we meet the needs of our children and families with care, compassion and expertise, enhancing both learning and mental wellbeing.

Inclusion at St Paul’s means that every child is an active and valued member of our school community with access to a rich and engaging curriculum. We are proud to offer a Specialist Resource Provision, The Orchard, which focuses on supporting children with communication and language needs. This nurturing environment, allocated through the Local Authority via the EHCP review process, enables children to grow in confidence, develop their communication skills and thrive within the wider school.

We recognise that many children may experience additional needs at different points in their primary journey—whether these are learning, emotional or social. At the heart of our work is a strong pastoral commitment. We strongly believe that children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and cared for. Our Pastoral team, Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Hiatt, are always available to offer guidance, reassurance, and support to both children and families.

For children requiring additional support, our SENDCo, Mrs Millidge, works alongside Mrs Hiatt, our Learning Mentor, class teachers, and skilled support staff to provide personalised interventions and monitor progress carefully. Where appropriate, children are placed on our SEND register in partnership with parents and carers, ensuring support is regularly reviewed and adapted to meet their needs.

We do more than support children—we champion them. Together, we create a nurturing environment where every child can grow in confidence, develop resilience, and truly shine like stars in the world.

Every child matters. Every voice is heard. Every journey is valued.
