At St. Paul’s C of E Primary School, our aspiration is for every child to become a shining star in their own unique way. We are committed to providing hundreds of diverse children with opportunities to excel, guided by our core Christian values of Trust, Love, Kindness, Friendship, Courage, and Respect. These values permeate every aspect of school life, empowering our students to radiate like stars in the world.

Shine as a light in the world, to the glory of God the Father.

Part of being a member of the church community is to go out into the world and shine, bringing God’s light and love to the people you meet. Likewise, in our church school, we want all the members to shine and be a blessing to their wider community through their learning, actions and their values.
St Paul, after whom the school was named, wrote a letter to his dear friends in the church at Philippi. In chapter 2 of this letter, he says:

Do all things without murmuring and arguing, so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world. Philippians 2:15.

These verses capture some important things about our vision for the children at St Paul’s.

Our comprehensive curriculum not only inspires academic growth but also fosters the spiritual, emotional, moral, social, and cultural development of our children. As they embark on their journey beyond our school gates, they will encounter various challenges in society. Our vision is to equip them with the knowledge and values cultivated within our school community, enabling them to shine brightly in the world ahead.
