Throughout the year, school governors, parents, and members of our community are encouraged to join us in commemorating significant occasions such as Harvest, Christmas, Easter, and Leavers' Worship services at the church. These events serve as opportunities to reinforce Christian beliefs and values among our students while fostering an understanding and empathy towards other religions, cultures, and ways of life.
Our close partnership with St. Paul’s Church is evident through regular visits from Reverend Kate Massey and other clergy members. The entire school attends church services at least once a month, and year groups take turns leading worship sessions for parents twice a year. Additionally, our students have actively participated in the drama club 'Shooting Stars', led by church members, further enhancing their engagement with faith-based activities.
Collaborating closely with the church, we endeavor to raise awareness about charitable causes and provide support to the local community. Reverend Kate Massey plays an integral role in our school, delivering Collective Worship sessions both within the school premises and at the church. She also collaborates with our Worship Leaders to facilitate services that empower children to take the lead.
Furthermore, we are privileged to work with Donna Fullylove, the Growing Faith Worker, who leads worship sessions and facilitates enriching experiences for our children during festive celebrations like Christmas and Easter. Through these collaborative efforts, we strive to cultivate a nurturing environment where students can develop spiritually while embracing the values of empathy, compassion, and community engagement.
